To celebrate St. Patrick's Day, President and Sabina Higgins hosted a reception at Áras an Uachtaráin to acknowledge the special contribution made by citizens who have excelled in science and its application to Irish life. We were honored when President Higgins asked us to present our project to his guests on such a special day. He felt that since our project celebrates both our passion for science and also our Irish heritage through the nations music, it was a fitting presentation to give in the historic building of Áras an Uachtaráin. We would like to thank both President Higgins and Sabina Higgins for the opportunity. We loved engaging with the other guests as it allowed us to share ideas and celebrate what our nation has to offer in the field of S.T.E.M. Missing from the photos is team member Annette Moran.
